Michael Levin was a lone soldier from Philadelphia, PA who fell in battle during the Second Lebanon War. This Foundation was established by Michael’s parents, Mark and Harriet Levin, to honor Michael’s legacy by fulfilling his dream of assisting Lone Soldiers before, during, and after their service. The Michael Levin Lone Soldier Foundation provides grants to organizations in Israel serving the needs of Lone Soldiers, ensuring they receive essential support and services.
Lone Soldiers, individuals who serve in the Israel Defense Forces without immediate family in Israel, often face unique challenges. The Michael Levin Lone Soldier Foundation works tirelessly to ensure these brave men and women are never alone. From mental health counseling to Shabbat meals and emergency medical assistance, the Foundation provides a range of critical services to Lone Soldiers.
During times of conflict, such as the current situation in Israel, the Foundation’s support becomes even more crucial. With Israel at war, the Foundation is stepping up to fund emergency needs such as critical supplies, warm winter gear, and mental health counseling for soldiers on the front lines.
